May all find peace and happiness within.

I started this blog thinking about chronicling my chronic fatigue experience, because experiencing chronic fatigue syndrome is one of the hardest thing's I've ever encountered. I also know, that without this experience I would be far worse off. My experience prompted me to ask questions like, why? what is the purpose of life? What is real happiness? How can I be of help to others? and now i'd like to share my learnings in life...

Never Hold Back

Say, I love you.
Hug hello and goodbye.
Smile at passers bye.
Jump, run and look silly, if that is what you feel...no matter the crowd.
Laugh, at whatever you find funny!
Tell that person exactly how you feel, if they were suddenly gone and you haden't? How would you feel.
Never take people, fun or life for granted
Be in it, every moment.

Never hold back!

Wow, this is 6th month since my last post. A lot has happened. Too much I think to catch up on. But I will say this.

How did Sir Edmund Hilary and his sherpa make it to the top of Mt Everest?

One step at a time!

Sometimes if you sit contemplating the journey ahead too long, you end up never starting.
The journey begins here, now. You are the journey and sitting still will be where you start and end up if you don't decide, one way or another, to just live!!

So whatever your contemplating, just do it. Choose a road and go down it. You can always choose to change course but not choosing at all.... is life wasted!

I'm reminded of lyrics from a Ronan Keating Song

"If you get the chance to sit it out or dance.....I hope you dance!"

This is one of my mums favourite songs and her positive, intuitive attitude is still influential in my life. If you don't have a 'someone' like that or need some inspiration. I tell you this. Everyone, and I mean everyone! has a light inside (perhaps buried deep from life's experiences) but it is always there. Always. Access your inner light, your inner wisdom, your inner love. For it is sitting there waiting for you to call upon it! You are powerful!
